Working at GSP

Growing together

Professional decisions shape your life, not just your career. If you choose to work at GSP, you set your sights in many respects on growth: We are an extremely healthy medium-sized enterprise that has established itself over the last 30 years as one of the most successful system providers in the international growth market of rail passenger services. We are an employer that sees growth in more ways than just increased figures because:

  • We want growth in terms of knowledge and ideas.

  • We create an environment where you can grow.

  • We grow as a team together...

  • ...and if your family grows, you can count on our support.

Further training and development are integral parts of our human resources policy. This also involves internal courses and external training sessions as well as regular employee discussions, where alongside tasks and goals, your personal position in the company is discussed.

One location, countless opportunities

Our roots are in Berlin; however, our operating range knows no bounds: GSP is active globally and works with customers in more than thirty countries. The more international our business relationships, the more cosmopolitan and colourful our team.

Success needs space, which is why our premises have grown. After ten years in the Berlin Innovation and Start-up Centre BIG, GSP moved to its current headquarters in Focus Mediport, a technology centre in South-West Berlin, in 1995. The company employs more than 200 employees in development, production, sales and administration. The fact that all these areas are located in one site not only pools our strengths, but also provides a variety of employment options for all qualification levels - from a high-school graduate to an experienced professional, from the business student to the graduated engineer.

Family-friendly and flexible

If you want to design the world of tomorrow, you cannot work within the structures of yesterday. That is why we are making efforts to unite family and career as much as possible. Flexible working times and part-time working give parents and single parents room to manoeuvre. In terms of other personal challenges, such as looking after relatives who need care, we are working together with employees to find solutions that take different interests into account.

Prevention makes you creative

Health and occupational protection are central issues in our company policy. It goes without saying that we adhere to legal stipulations, but we do more than that: Annual benefits such as flu vaccinations, sight tests and check-ups as well as vaccinations for business travellers are only a handful of the services we provide.

Employees with fresh spirits not only achieve more, they also have more fun at work. That's why we treat our employees from time to time to a creative break, a relax in our massage chair, having a power nap in our quiet space or clearing their minds on a walk in a park nearby.
