GSP has a broad WiFi portfolio: from routers for buses and trams to the equipment of double-decker trains with systems with WiFi and entertainment.
With the current generation of the WiFi system, GSP has developed a new vehicle interface: PIS-WiFi 2.0. This innovation enables railway companies to better inform their passengers by linking the passenger information system (PIS) with the GSP-WiFi. The benefits are obvious: Passengers can receive travel information, such as arrival forecasts, connections or track changes directly from the vehicle on their mobile devices. This connection to the on-board computer provides information in real time and is independent of the current network coverage. Passengers can thus always access travel information.
